attic antenna and aluminum HVAC tubing

Planning on an antenna (or two) in the attic. The house is new and the heating and cooling are fed via flexible ALUMINUM COVERED tubing. Has anyone had any problems with high RFI/SWR etc. with this type of tubing? Or am I worrying about nothing. tnx all k9ljq |

Nearby conductors (AC wiring, ducting, etc.) can have a big impact on antennas, especially if they run parallel to the antenna and especially if they have anywhere near resonant length (multiple of 1/2 wavelength at operating frequency). Nearby parallel conductors will affect your antenna performance in ways that are hard to predict. But you really don't want to put RF energy into your power, cable TV, or phone wiring!
