That's why I still have some of my old handbooks. When there is new information or technology they just can't keep adding to the handbook or it would be 6 inches thick. lots of good information in the old manuals. still kicking my self for selling my 1932? manual. K8OT |

Most likely the tube sockets or the pins on the tube sockets have corroded, spray the sockets with a good cleaner and plug them in and out a few times. I'm restoring an odd Hallicrafter SX101 and experienced what you described. |

I'm just a little pistol so most of the time I don't see my results in an ARRL contest. When I enter a CQ contest, Even if I only make a few contacts I will see my results in the Magazine. Nuff said. |
