Thanks to all. INDONESIA. Team leader YB0RX will be organizing a DXpedition to Enganno Island, a new IOTA, off the coast of South Sumatra, Indonesia. This three day operation starting March 24 will involve 35 people. Listen for their CW, SSB, RTTY and OSCAR on all bands, including the CQWW WPX SSB Contest using the call sign 8A4EI. CAMBODIA. XU7VK is active on 14007 and 14017 kHz. QSL via HA0HW. SOUTHEAST ASIA DXPEDITION. Mike, DF8AN, leaves Germany on April 21 bound for Kathmandu, Nepal. He has applied for a visitor's call sign, but may use 9N1/DF8AN between March 22 and April 5. Activity will be mostly CW. From Kathmandu he travels to Hong Kong to operate with a VS6 call sign or VS6/DF8AN between April 6 and 13. While in Hong Kong he plans to visit Macao to apply for an XX9 call sign. From April 13 to 24 he will try to be active from the island Koh Samui, Thailand, with a visitor's licence for HS/DF8AN. Mike's operations will be on 40, 15 and 6 meters only. Ron, ZL1AMO, has cancelled his T31 operation slated for April due to transportation problems. He hopes to be active from Tokelau instead. SVALBARD. Three YL operators will activate Spitsbergen Island, IOTA EU-26, in the Svalbard Archipelago April 8 to 12. Their radio equipment will be a battery powered, synthesized portable radio with 25 watts of output power to a dipole antenna. Try 14247 and 21247 kHz SSB. Some CW operating is planned. Please note that their radio has no provision for split frequency operation. QSL Inger, JW8KT, via LA8KT. HEARD ISLAND UPDATE. The South Sandwich Island DX Group has announced that Verne Fowler, W8BLA, of Roswell, GA, is the newest team member. CANADIAN ARCTIC DXPEDITION. The Inuvik Amateur Radio Club is planning to operate on what is believed to be Hendrickson Island in the Arctic Ocean. This island is located NE of Tuktoyakutuk at 69 29N by 133 36E, is IOTA NA-192 and Canadian Island number NW-37. Operations should start at 0000z April 1 and finish up some time Sunday afternoon. Listen for VE8YEV. Two radios will be used, with one parked on 14260 kHz, an IOTA frequency, most of the time. The other radio will roam 80, 40 and perhaps 15 meters operating CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL ROUTE CHANGE. Ken, V73C, aka AH9C, reports that OKDXA, the Oklahoma DX Association, no longer handles his QSLing chores.
