This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
the OPDX Bulletin, Tedd, KB8NW, Joe, NJ1Q, the ARRL Outgoing QSL
Bureau and Contest Corral from QST.  Thanks to all.
 
ANGOLA, D2.  Valy, D2/YO3YX, is a Romanian officer with the Romanian
Army contingent in Angola under the auspices of the United Nations
Medical Corp. His tour will be until year end.  He is active mainly
on 14268 and 21266 kHz SSB with a homemade transceiver, 400 watt
linear and a rhombic antenna.  Valy is willing to QSY for CW
contacts.  QSL via YO3YE, PO Box 55-36, Bucharest, Romania.
 
NORTH KOREA.  Two members of the recent P5 operation, Olli, OH0XX,
and Martti, OH2BH, have received an invitation to conduct a full
scale operation using the calls P51XX and P51BH.  No dates for this
potential operation have been mentioned.
 
ANDAMAN ISLANDS, VU7.  In the lull of VU2JPS spots comes a report
that VU2RKC and others are planning a DXpedition slated for October,
and that some progress has be made in securing licenses and
operating permission.
 
WESTERN SAHARA, S0.  Tim, KC0PA, is back to duty with the UN peace
keeping forces and is signing 4U/KC0PA.  He has equipment for HF and
6 meters.  QSL via VE9RHS.
 
Watch for Enrique, EA5AD, in the next few days, signing an S0 call
sign ending in URE.  He should be on from more than one location
with an emphasis on RTTY.
 
TANZANIA, 5H.  The Tanzanian Amateur Radio Club and Net are now
active and on the air.  Listen for them on Sunday mornings at 0500z
on 7080 kHz.
 
TUNISIA, 3V.  Mike, JA2PDQ, is signing 3V8BB and is active on CW,
SSB, RTTY and satellites until mid-June.  Check 14240 kHz SSB at
2230z, 14030 kHz CW at 2315z and RTTY on 14083 kHz between 0030 and
0130z.  QSL via JF2EZA.
 
QSL BUREAU NOTES.  The new address for the British Virgin Islands
QSL Bureau is c/o Dirk J. de Jong, PO Box 137, Road Town, Tortola,
British Virgin Islands.  Bureau manager, Dirk, states that only
cards for calls starting with VP2V are handled by the service.
Cards for calls starting with VP2E, VP2M, or /VP2V reciprocal
licensed stations will be discarded.
 
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The ARRL June VHF QSO Party is from
1800z June 10 to 0300z June 12.  Exchange grid locator.  Complete
contest rules are on page 134 of May QST.
 
ANARTS WW RTTY Contest, sponsored by the Australian National Amateur
Radio Teleprinter Society, runs from 0000z June 10 to 2400z June 11.
Operate RTTY, AMTOR A and B, ASCII and packet, exchanging RST, time
in UTC and CQ Zone.  Details appear on page 113 of June QST.
 
The TOEC WW Grid CW Contest, sponsored by the Top of Europe
Contesters, runs from 1200z June 10 to 1200z June 11.  Exchange RST
and grid square.  For more information check page 113 in June QST.
