Thanks to all. SCARBOROUGH REEF, BS7. Wayne, N7NG, states that another license for BS7A has been obtained from the Chinese authorities. Another DXpedition will reportedly take place after this year's typhoon season. The operator team thus far consists of N7NG, ON1RY, SM7PKK, JH4RHF and two others. CONGO, TN. Hazel, TN7OT, was heard on 14226 kHz around 2000z. QSL via Hazel, BP12, Impfondo, Republic of the Congo, Africa. TUVALU, T2. After several delays, Masa, JE1DXC, finally became active as T20XC, with lots of activity on both CW and RTTY. MONACO, 3A. Daniel, 3A2LZ, reports a few pirates have been active from his country. 3A50A has been on the air, though this call has NOT been officially issued. Another station in the same category is 3A2CC. Daniel mentioned contacts made between June 10 and 15 with the Rotary Amateur Radio Society, ROARS, special event station, 3A2RAR, should be QSL'ed via 3A2LZ. ANTIGUA, V2. Doug, N3ADL, reports members of the Frankford Radio Club, FRC, will be active in this year's CQWW DX Phone Contest October 28 and 29 as V26B. QSL via WT3Q. Doug plans on being active before and after the contest as time permits on the RS12 satellite as well as on 12 and 17 meters as V26DX. QSL via N3ADL. SPAIN, EH. Some 140 stations are now authorized to operate 6 meters using less than 30 watts of CW or SSB between 50.0 and 50.2 MHz. These stations change their prefix from EA to EH when operating on 6 meters. GIBRALTAR, ZB2. Dave, N7RK, has announced that his ZB2 operation planned for the last week of June has been canceled. He may try again in the fall. SVALBARD, JW. Dominik, DL5EBE, will operate as JW0K while here as a member of a scientific expedition of the Norwegian Institute for Biology and Geology Tromso. This should take place from July 17 to August 10 with activity on 40 through 10 meters, mainly CW and RTTY. QSL via DL5EBE direct or the bureau. KERMADEC ISLAND, ZL8. Although landing permission has not been granted, permission to operate has been granted for the November 1995 DXpedition. Funding for this operation is running shy of expectations. May 1996 is the back-up date for the DXpedition because the boat that goes to the island only goes there every 6 months to drop off supplies for scientists on the island. Permission to operate has been granted as of June 8th, but no permission had been issued to land on the island (this is still in the works). Meanwhile, Scott, AA8SM, is conducting a survey in the interest of finding amateurs needs, bands and modes, for ZL8.
