MALAWI, 7Q.  Joe, 7Q7BP has been active on 160 meters around 0330z.

CHINA, BY.  Special event stations BT1OB, BT1OH, BT1OJ, BT1ON and
BT1OY active during the 2008 Beijing Olympics are QRV until
September 17.  Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and
RTTY.  They are also active using SSTV, PSK, EME and on various
satellites.  QSL all calls via BA4EG.

BAHAMAS, C6.  Frank, K3TRM is QRV as C6ARM until August 26.
Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL to home
call.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, E7.  Slaven, E77AA has been active on 20
meters CW.

SPAIN, EA.  Special event station AO5FI is QRV until August 24
during the Formula 1 Gran Prix.  QSL via EA5URV.
          
CANARY ISLANDS, EA8.  Luis, EA8AY is QRV as EE8AY from Alegranza
Island, IOTA AF-004, from the Punta Delgado Lighthouse, ARLHS
CAI-034, until August 24.  Activity is on HF bands, including 6 and
2 meters, using CW, SSB, FM and various digital modes.  QSL to home
call.

IRAN, EP.  Rooyan, EP3PK has been active on 20 meters using SSB
around 1800z.  QSL via IK2DUW.

JERSEY, GJ.  Operator Oliver, OE5OHO, Henry, OE5HDN and Gerhard,
OE3GEA are QRV as MJ/homecalls until August 26.  Activity is holiday
style on all bands using CW and SSB.  QSL to home calls.

JAN MAYEN, JX.  Svein is QRV as JX9JKA and has been active on 20
meters from around 2000 to 0000z.  QSL via LA9JKA.

US VIRGIN ISLANDS, KP2.  Jaime, WP3A is QRV as KP2B from St. Croix,
IOTA NA-106.  Activity is on 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters using CW and
SSB.  QSL via EA7FTR.

SWEDEN, SM.  Jorgen, SM3CXS is QRV as SG3U from Grimskar Island,
IOTA EU-176, until August 31.  In addition, Sten, SM3NXS will join
him on August 29 and be QRV as SD3N.  Activity is on all HF bands
using CW and SSB.  QSL to home calls.

GREECE, SV.  Gabi, HA1YA is QRV as J48YA from Thassos and then
Limnos until August 31.  In addition to HF activity, he will try to
be active on 6 meters and 2 meter Meteor Scatter.  QSL to home call.

TURKEY, TA.  Karl, WA2KBZ is QRV as TA0/homecall from Buyukada
Island until September 1. Buyukada Island is located in the Sea of
Marmara, but does not as yet have an IOTA designator.  Activity is
on 40, 30, 20 and 17 meters using mostly CW.  QSL to home call.

CHAD, TT.  Francisco is QRV as TT8FC and has been active on 20
meters around 1500z.  QSL via EA4AHK.

ANTARCTICA.  Vasily, RA9LI/9 is QRV from a meteorological station in
the on Belyy Island, IOTA AS-083.  His length of stay is unknown.
Activity has been on 20 meters around 1530 to 1830z.  QSL via UA9LP.

UZBEKISTAN, UK.  Victor, UK8AKK has been active on 20 meters using
RTTY around 1600z.

COCOS-KEELING ISLANDS, VK9C.  Giovanni, I5JHW is QRV as VK9CJW until
August 29.  Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB.  QSL to
home call.

LAOS, XW.  Bruce, XW1B has been active on 20 meters around 0000z and
also around 1430z.  QSL via E21EIC.

UK SOVEREIGN BASE AREAS ON CYPRUS, ZC4.  Tom, ZC4TS has been active
eon 20 meters around 1800z.

SOUTH AFRICA, ZS.   Franz, HB9EHQ will be QRV as ZS6/DL3PS from
Johannesburg from August 25 to September 12 while on a business
trip.  He will be active on 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and
digital modes in his spare time.  QSL to home call.

tap for this weekend.  RSGB 80-Meter Club SSB Sprint are scheduled
