Average solar flux was up ten points this week compared to the last
week in May.  It should peak in the low nineties from June 12-17,
then bottom out around 70 at the end of the month.  Recurring
coronal holes will cause disturbed conditions indicated by high A
and K indices on WWV around June 12, 13 and 26.
 
As we head toward Summer expect seasonally higher noise levels and a
generally lower MUF.  E skip should provide some interesting
conditions on 6 and 10 meters.  Except when solar flux is high, as
it will be over the next week, expect 20 meters to be the highest
frequency HF band usable for long range propagation.
 
Sunspot Numbers for June 1 through 7 were 12, 12, 35, 34, 68, 47 and
38, with a mean of 35.1.  10.7 cm flux was 70.5, 73.3, 74.7, 79.1,
81.7, 79.4 and 82.5, with a mean of 77.3.
 
The path projection for this week is from Fort Collins, Colorado to
Taiwan.
 
Check 40 meters around 1045 to 1145z, and 30 meters from 1000 to
1300.  20 meters looks good most days from 0730 to 1630, with
best conditions every day around 1200 to 1400.  On some days 17
meters may be open around the clock, but your best bet is around
0400 to 0600.  15 meters does not look very reliable, but on some
days it may be open from 1830 to 0730.
