| Just keep working towards dxcc on each of the 5 bands. What helped me was to focus on one or two bands during a contest. Only work frequent lotw uploaders and countries you have not worked yet. You'll be surprised how fast it starts to add up. | ||

| I submitted my logs for the 2012 ARRL EME contest. I was told by the ARRL contest manager that applicants should be receiving certificates for their participation in the contest around September 2013 but myself and nobody else have seen anything. Has that been discontinued? I tried contacting the ARRL several times with no response. | ||

| I have about 210+ countries confirmed, enough for 20m dxcc, enough for cw dxcc, and I think something else. I've never filled out a single dxcc application and I'm wondering where do I begin? Can I do everything in one shot with a card checker? Do I start with the 100 first? I just sent several hundred cards out so maybe in the next year or so I'll be closing in on 5b dxcc. I'm guessing I should start getting applications submitted! Once you get started / DXCC official.. is there a way to check online what you have "on record" to keep track where you are? What you need? etc? (If not.. that would be a cool idea!) |

| I occasionally use AM on HF with some of my vintage gear but it's not really a regular thing. I don't ragchew much, and any of my friends I ragchew with are either in SSB or CW. I'd love to get a few more people with 2m or 6m AM gear and get on the air once in a while. I have a few of the Gonset Communicators that would be fun to use with others from time to time. AM is a nice sounding fun mode to use and you don't even need older vintage gear to get on and try out .Although I will say I do prefer using the older gear with tubes, glowing pilot lights, lots of knobs and plenty of weight! |
